6 Halifax Street Macquarie Park Affordable Housing

I am writing to object this planning as a resident in NBH since the building has been settled. The reasons of objection are including overcrowded at the area, overflow of traffic and overall planning of the area.
Firstly currently with NBH almost 100% capacity, during night market and good weather days or weekends, the area is already very crowded with residents and visitors. With Landmark's residential buildings have already been confirmed, we are continue to see an increase of visitors to overload this area despite having enough facilities and shops to support the crowd. There are quite limited food choices and only one supermarket at the area. Secondly, Halifax Street is only supported by one lane road Jarvis Circuit and Wicks Road. Entry to Halifax Street is only able from Wicks Road or south bound of Epping Road. During peak time and morning, the queue to turn left to Wicks Road, and later turn into Epping Road from Wicks Road has been very crowded, especially with cars coming from Waterloo Road. It has been very bad traffic in the area now even the other new building in Halifax Street still in progress. The current traffic infrastructure will not be able to support all the cars and residents, and also growing commercial buildings in Waterloo Road. Visitor parking is another issue. All the spots in Halifax Street is only allowed for 2 hours parking, same as Coles visitors parking for NBH. As NBH doesnt have separate visitor parking, visitors can only be parked for 2 hours in Coles or on the street. This is very inconvenient. And with the growing buildings and population, the coles parking and street parking will be largely not enough and become way too overflow for residents convenience. Thirdly, Halifax Street and Macquarie Park area has been considered as one of the new luxury residence suburbs. Residents living here are decent and educated people due to high living standard and living cost here, it also makes Macquarie Park and North Ryde a very safe place. However with building affordable housing, the area will now be mixed with other residents which do not have the same qualifications and wealth background. The mix of lower income households will generally harmful to the community here and we do not want to see the area become dangerous and crimimal in the future because of getting lower household groups.
