Dear Sir

I wish to register my objection to this and any other proposal.

While I can see the benefits for this proposal to the community I strongly object to any more developments in this Health Precinct until the car parking problem in Park Central has been satisfactorily addressed.

This Health Precinct includes the Campbelltown Public Hospital, Macarthur Private Hospital and nearby Medical/business Offices.

As a resident for many years I have been subjected to the development of this precinct without sufficent consideration given to carparking. The local residential parking has deteriorated to nil while the demand by employees, patients, visitors and supporting business is forever increasing.

Living on Parkside Cres I find I am unable to park anywhere near my residence due to the demands placed on parking by persons living outside this residential area but working in the precinct. Anyone who comes to visit me has to park blocks away from my home. On occasions, when I need to be picked up, they have to double park on this now busy street.

I submit my objection in the hope that this area will be improved by adequate parking provisions before any consideration be given to further development. The needs of Park Central residents, in regards to parking, can no longer be ignored.

Yours Faithfully
Tim McLeod

IRT owns adjoining property on which it operates a 60 bed aged persons care centre and 260 lifestyle retirement units.

Whilst there is no objection to the proposed development in principle, we are unable to assess the impact of the prooposed new carpark and access road along the common boundary.

IRTs main concerns are in relation to:
common boundary treatment and screening,
visual privacy/amenity and
proposed carpark, and access road finished site levels.

IRT needs to be able to provide its residents with certainty as to what is proposed and how the proposed development may affect them. At this point IRT has significant concerns that this aspect of the proposed development may result in a loss of residential privacy and amenity and accordingly requests that greater detail be provided in order to properly consider the proposal and understand its impacts.

Following this IRT requests that any further concerns it may have in relation to the above described issues be mitigated by way of negotiation/conditions of consent to ensure the best outcome for all parties.

Regards
