I live in Wyalong and the mine is a great asset to the local community which would surely almost cease to exist when the mine leaves, similar to other surrounding towns. Wyalong is a great town to live in and i hope the mine stays open as long as possible for people to enjoy this dot on a map as they drive through but most importantly for us in the town to enjoy it for as long as possible before it disappears. Eventually the mine will close and the town along with it, but hopefully not anytime soon.
