My issues are:-
1)Noise levels especially base. Our building the Millenium was not mentioned in the affected buildings eventhough we will be greatly affected. We are affected already with a local disco that has a 24hour license. Already I have had to ask for their base to be turned down so sleep could prevail. What will happen with the noise and music of the 24hour sound and video signs suggested.
3) I am also concerned with 24hours signs with video advertising allowed on them.. Some of these will be visible from every windo and door in my unit. I am concerned re the luminescense. I already have issues with brightness of the white light in the Commonwealth bank sign and am asking them to dim the stark white light after 10pm.
4) I am also concerned re the definition of the term "special events". There is a special event almost every weekend in Darling Harbour. Does this mean that The open air ehibition area will be going 24hours a day all weekend every weekend????
5} I also wish to be compensated if I have to have double glazed windows installed to reduce noise and also blackout curtains or blinds if having to also be installed. I do not feel that it is right that this burden be placed on me financially, time and stress wise.
6) I also have a concern re definition of ambient light and noise levels, Traffic makes ambient noise levels already excessive so I am concerned if noise levels are allowed to be even loader and for 24hours a day 7 days a week. Also traffic lights and other existing lights mean that also our ambient light levels are already high and I would not wish them ro be any hight 24hours a day.
So in summary I am concerned re 24 hour noise and flashing and/or still pictures that may disturb my rest and also any financial burden that I may have to incur as a result.
I am supplying photos that show illumination issues that concern me but I am unable to load up the sound issues that I had at 4am in the morning from the local discoe but do have a recording on my phone if required.
ND in World Square the sound on their advertising sign is so low that it is barely audible. It concerns me that the World Square has such low volume. Did all the residents request this????
