Kellyville South Public School

As the local Hills Council is proposing a suburb boundary change and includes this school site into the Bella Vista suburb, the more appropriate name for this school should be "Bella Vista Public School".

With the new suburb boundary, the school is no longer in Kellyville and it does not make sense to call it Kellyville South.

I am supportive of the proposed school. However I wonder where will staff be parking? You need to provide onsite parking for staff.

I am writing to voice my concern regarding the proposed development of Kellyville South Public School - and in particular the hall/gym development.

Our concern (as a resident who backs directly on to the school) is that the hall will be open till 11pm each night. We have a new baby and elderly grandparents who live in this household, of course this noise will impact their resting/sleeping patterns.

We also have 2 bedrooms at the back of the house that are in direct line of the hall. The noise made from the hall is in direct line of these rooms, and therefore a likely disturbance.

You have mentioned in your proposition that the hall has been acoustically tested and no noise will travel to residents when the windows/doors are closed. However, when people are going in and out of the hall, or when windows and the exhaust fans are open - we suspect the noise will definitely travel to our house.

We understand that this is a community space and will provide great benefit to the residents and broader community, however we do ask that you be mindful of nearby neighbours and consider a 9pm shut down on weeknights.
