I hereby strongly object to this King's Forest development application which proposes further loss of koala habitat in the area which is in clear breech of original planning approval

These modifications do not support the koala population in this environmentally sensitive area of the Tweed. Development approval was given and accepted by the community because it included specific plans for the protection of wildlife eg koalas. This developer is asking planning authorities to go against the Kingscliff /Tweed community demands that koalas be given a" fair go" in this development. Why is this now in question.? This can only be viewed as a cost cutting measure by the developer. The end result will be a loss off habitat, food source and cost the lives of koalas and other native wildlife struggling to survive in our region. As a direct neighbour of this site I object to these modifications. We view this as profiteering of a millionaire developer at the cost of our environment.

I am concerned for the welfare of the koalas and their habitat in this area. Previously agreed upon care for the land and the koalas must be maintained if the estate is to go ahead.

Councils and developers must stick to the guidelines agreed upon.
You can not change your mind just to make more money at the expense of our already ENDANGERED KOALAS!!

I object to the changes regards Koala Protection. I have lived in Nunderi for nearly 30 years which is not far from the Kings Forest development. There is no Koala protection here and with the degradation of koala habitat from increase in development in this area we do not see or hear koals anymore. Part of the pleasure in living in these areas is to try and live in harmony with nature. Port Maquarie is an example of koalas living sustainably in developed areas. Do not let short term greed override long term quality of environment.

the developer of kings forest is asking the government to dismiss or downgrade the koala protection measures. As our koala population is declining incredibly fast due to the lack of protection from government I ask that the government uphold their promise to the community and in turn make this developer follow all measures already in place for the protection of our koala population. We don't want greedy developers nor greedy governments in our community

Our family is dismayed that a developer could even be allowed to apply to reneg on agreed conditions to their development. Let alone for it to relate to our rapidly dwindling, precious Koalas. Surely the reason people would want to move to this area, is to enjoy the beautiful landscape, including the Trees and Koalas???
We all need to start doing the right thing for future generations. It can't just be about the money. If it is, then this company is the wrong company to be developing our land.

I strongly object to the proposal to downgrade or dismiss the koala protection measures ALREADY AGREED ON .
I say they should NOT be allowed to break those promises.
Koalas are under enough pressure already.
This is sickening!

The developer of Kings Forest " mini city", which will be an extra 4500 dwellings, just behind Kingscliff, is asking State Govt to downgrade or dismiss the koala protection measures ALREADY AGREED ON . They should NOT be allowed to break those promises and I object to any changes to the original approval.

I am strongly against any development in the King's Forest area. The area needs to be protected, especially due to the wildlife that inhabits that area such as Koala's!! Please have some sense and leave this place alone!!!

We should be protecting the Koalas for future generations, it is very irresponsible not to protect our wildlife. What are future generations going to think of us. Koalas will become extinct in the near future, at the rate we are developing Housing Estates. Koalas are unique to Australia, so we have a responsibility to look after them. People from War torn countries are more concerned about our wildlife than Australians are, they have been donating money to hep save them. It is a poor show that people with more problems than us, from the other side of the world care more about the plight of the Koala than Australians do. We should all be very ashamed for not trying harder to protect them. Tourist come here to see Koalas, not housing estates, tourists spend a lot of money in our country while they are here.

NSW government should get ICAC to investigate Bob Ell from Leda and the Tweed Coast Council puppets including Warren Polglase. We are sick of the developers and our councillors and the corrupt collusion that goes on in the Tweed. I'm sure the crooked NSW Planners on the developers payroll will approve whatever the developer wants.
