I do not believe that they have a social licence for this project.

This project must not under any circumstances be allowed to be constructed. Food producing agricultural land must never be damaged, let alone for an unreliable and short lived energy source. There is also significant environmental impacts that should immediately ensure that this project does not proceed.

I OBJECT and DO NOT CONSENT TO this unnecessary, ugly, biodiversity, ecosystem, carbon storing tree destroying killing solar project that does NOT have any social license to be even considered. Also, this project, just like any other renewaBULL will become an extremely high fire risk once it is connected to the high voltage transmission wires, which means that just on the potentially high fire hazard alone, anyone involved with putting this project together would be putting themselves at a high risk to be culpable in a continual inquest.

When is this Australian Government going to realise They cannot continue to erect renewable projects all over Australia as this is a plan that will never be achievable reliable energy ,ruining Prime agricultural land ,local communities falling apart with the Construction of massive solar panel farms, wind turbines covering their local landscapes
What are Australians going to eat , import all our food from overseas
No agricultural land left to produce our own countries food Requirements
I certainly oppose this renewable project yet again wake up Australia

What concerns me most is the endangerment this project will have on the native flora and fauna due to constant noise and vibration emitted.
The high risk of bushfire due to thermal runaway and the underground water being contaminated due to toxic gases emitted from the batteries in the fire event, and during the extinguishing of the fire using fire fighting extinguishers and emulsions. This will cause unrepairable damage to the environment and too close to essential waterways.
This fertile farming land will be unusable and should not be changed to industrial renewables.
This is not a stable solution towards our future and our children's future.
Don't let this go ahead

We’re taught to protect the environment; Industrialising Maison Dieu’s rural community with obnoxious Electricity Generating Works & Big Lumps of Toxic, Incapable Batteries that CONSTANTLY BURST INTO FLAMES goes against everything we believe in!

They want to destroy 230ha of primary producing agricultural land. This should not be allowed. Security of food and fibre should be a priority for Australia.

RU1, primary production land should not be destroyed to make way for irreversible renewable energy infrastructure. These projects on primary productive land should be illegal.

As New South Wales has only 6% high class arable land, as a taxpayer, a consumer of local produce and a concerned resident of regional Australia which is being, seemingly deliberately, torn apart by these non-renewable unreliable energy factories that ARE NOT farms I object to this solar factory.

Ex-dairy land is among the most fertile land available, no doubt able to be irrigated. That this proposal is on flood prone land, as demonstrated by the need for flood mitigation measures is extremely worrying. The leeching of the dangerous and toxic chemicals from the solar panels, including forever chemicals into both the soil and the local water supply is a foreseeable disaster being given an invitation if this project goes ahead.

As someone that has just been told that the tariffs from our own rooftop solar have been cut due to oversupply of solar to the grid, when it is working, I would like an explanation of why more of our agricultural land is being placed under panels that will obviously add to ensuring the grid is unbalanced while not supplying base-load power.

A "revelation" news article today revealed that one solar recycling plant in Queensland may be able to recycle 240,000 panels a year. With tens of millions of panels going in all over the country this, even if it is viable, is a drop in the ocean. There is nothing "renewable" or "green" about these made in China, with the coal we cannot use, by slave labour, and then transported across the world panels.

With the decommissioning plan by our NSW State Government being "hands off" is there any certainty that A) is there plans to establish the funds for the decommissioning plan B) are the landowners involved aware that they are ultimately responsible for decommissioning and what those costs are likely to be given that the Government Planner to assist in this estimation is still in the "draft" phase.

As the NSW Solar Guidelines state that all infrastructure must be removed, but with this being ignored by decommissioning plans for other developments are the guidelines being ignored here also with only the infrastructure to 50mm being planned for removal?

With the assumed only reasons for this loss of land being 1) lower power prices 2) lowering of "emissions" could the proponents and or the department please provide empirical evidence of 1) anywhere in the world that the price of energy has been lowered by a combination of solar and wind 2) evidence of any adverse event, effect or temperature rise caused by emissions of CO2, carbon dioxide, which is plant food, has a greening effect and is currently at a historical low in the atmosphere.

The hugely expensive and destructive roll-out of "renewables" infrastructure must surely be backed by solid real world evidence, in light of the apparent fact that an 82% reduction in "emissions" has no budget restraints, social upheaval boundaries, is more important than food security and there are no environmental restraints on its uptake.

Yours faithfully,
Mrs Karen Fox.

Solar panels (and for this project, 110,000 of them) are too toxic for the environment, wildlife and nearby communities.
They should not be allowed to destroy 230ha of RU1 land to accommodate this destructive project.
