1. As per my knowledge, the proposed land was initially designated only for High school, but the same place is now squeezed to accommodate primary school. Does it not mean the students of both schools loose the adequate room for their activities/sports? And I haven't noticed 2 schools (primary and high) in the same campus with this headcount (1000 primary school and 2000 high school) any where in Sydney (excluding the private or independent schools)? Do we have any previous case studies to prove that it will work out well and no issues for the local residents? There may be a concern that the high school students may bully the primary school if they can reach out to each other.
2. Name of the High School: The suburb where the school is going to be built is 'Melonba' but why the name of the neighbouring suburb is being used after the school? I never saw that before. Why can't you name it as Melonba High School. I want you to please rethink the name of the school.
3. Exit points from the school and the suburb: There are only 3 exit points (only 2 can be used during the floods for the school) for both Elara and New Park estates that includes Northborne Public school and these 2 new schools ( total 4000 students capacity). The exit roads are 1 lane roads and with speed limits 50 kph. There are thousands of houses in these estates. In case of any floods, how do you expect people to get out of the suburbs using just those 3 exits?

I hope you are doing well. This high school project is in planning stage from almost 3 years now. High school construction should have already started January 2022 and school should have opened in January 2023. There are thousands of high school students travelling to Penrith / Blacktown / St Mary / Riverstone / Quakers Hill in heavy rain / Storms or paying tens of thousands of dollars each year for school fee.
Please fast track the construction for the much delayed much needed high school for thousands of kids and Australia future. Please don’t delay the construction of high school.
Please advise the construction and school opening timeline as a matter of urgency.
My mobile number is (redacted).
Build the promised high school as soon as it is possible. No more delays.
Many thanks
Kind regards
Sachin Sharma

So my concern here is (mentioned below)..
If School is available only for year 7 & 8 students what will happen to students who are in year 8 now, as per announcement students who are in year 8 with current year can't study in this school forever.
My son is in year 8 now going to private school and we were waiting for this school to open..so he can start his year 9 in the new Marsdenpark high school.
My house is right next to the new High school and I was dreaming that my kids will go to this school and no need to worry about commuting and also give financial relief for me as I am paying fees for private school. I know a lot of students in year8 in this community waiting for this school.
So what will happen now..my son has to go to private school for all his high schooling? And this is not what I was waiting from couple of years..
I am happy to create a group with other parents and get a petition signed..
Thanks & Regards
Resident of Melonba
