2. I was born in Narrabri and have lived in the Narrabri District most of my life.
3. I have regularly used the Pilliga Forest for recreation and firewood gathering - my family were once sleeper cutters in the Pilliga Forest
4. The Narrabri Gas Project will use less than half of one percent of the Pilliga Forest land area.
5. The Narrabri Gas Project proponents SANTOS are an Australian Company and are well regarded in the Narrabri District and broadly in Australia
6. The risk to the GAB is no more than that risk posed by the 18,000 existing water wells west of Narrabri - wells which are in some cases, 100 years old and have had little or no maintenance or rehabilitation and which were constructed using very basic methods.
7. The NGP proposed wells are state of the art.
8. The total numbers of wells proposed is small (800) when compared with other CSG projects.
9. The geology of the NGP site lends itself to trouble free gas production with the coal seam 500m below the GAB and separated by 500m of bedrock.
10. The fugitive emissions hype is not credible - less than 100km away at Maules Creek and Turrawan Coal the entire coal seam is exposed to open cut and/or underground coal mining where the ENTIRE methane load held within the coal seam is released to the atmosphere when the coal extraction begins and/or carries on.
11. The NGP is a rare opportunity for a commercial gas resource to be available without disturbing significant areas of farmland.
12. The NGP will be good for NSW and good for the Narrabri District - it will provide employment and it will provide careers - it will also offer the prospect of secondary industry.
13. The argument that the NGP will have a limited (20yr) run time and is therefor not worthwhile is spurious. The benefits of 20 years of NGP development will be far reaching and will change in a positive way the Narrabri District.
21.The linking of the NGP with the proposed inland rail further add to the importance of the Narrabri District as a regional development centre.
22. The overwhelming view amongst the many people I speak to about NGP is that they are positive about it - they may not take their time to find a difficult to locate Dept Planning submission page - but they are definitely in support.
23. I encourage the NSW Dept Planning to approve the NGP without further delay.

This is one of the very few submissions that will be passed around the industry and government.
Why you should all take this seriously.
Im the only person in the world to lockon to a Halliburton frack rig, Gloucester NSW.
I was a part of stopCSGTara QGCs worst nightmare, Chinchilla QLD.
Im the guy who got onto Curtis Island on New Years eve and threatened QGCs first export shipment of gas. 2014/15
Im the guy who moved into the Pilliga state forest and has prevented Santos drilling another hole in years.
Im the guy who set up the #PilligaPush camp in 2015/16 and cost Santos millions and forced the government to change the inclosed lands act, trespass.
Now somebody please explain to the gas cartel that i have been in the north west for nearly 4 years training hundreds and hundreds of farmers and concerned community members in civil disobedience.
Its quite simple everyone out here has grown up reliant on the great artesian basin and are prepared to fight to the absolute end to stop this and any other project. All of these farmers went to ag school and university together have had trading relationships through generations, And have learnt from the QLD experience.
Narrabri is an island of ignorance. we as a community have gone door to door and asked the people if they want to live in a gas field, 3,75m hectares has been surveyed 96% say. FRACK OFF.
The ground swell of people that will come and put their freedom on the line to stop this project will be astounding. The new laws don't matter I personally expect to loose everything including my freedom.
Short but sweet gentlemen.
The battle lines are drawn and we going to play this out....

2. The reserve is located 25km west of Narrabri. The reserve is used for recreation including boating activities, camping, bird watching and passive recreation. The reserve is used 12 months of the year. There are approx. 130 annual boat permits issued each year to recreational boat owners.
3. The Reserve is administered by a volunteer Trust Board consisting of 7 members drawn from the local community.
4. The current Trust Board members are all local persons and have some 130 years combined service on the Yarrie Lake Flora and Fauna Reserve Trust.
5. Some of the Trust Board members own agricultural properties within the NGP exploration area.
6. At its general meeting in March 2017 the Trust Board voted unanimously to support the Narrabri Gas Project..
7. The Board members indicated that they held no concerns regarding the NGP and despite the proximity to the NGP did not hold the view that there were any issues warranting concern.
