New High School in Bungendore

This High School is long overdue and the delays have been causing significant community tension. A small group of residents, mostly those that have residences near the site, have peddled misinformation and fear campaigns about the site. For those with children in the community - the site is perfect. Older children can walk with their younger siblings to the one educational precinct. Sports facilities of the oval can be shared between primary and high school students. And for those people objecting because they want to 'save bungendore park'; the two schools are already using the oval during school hours and the world hasn't ended as we know it. Please build the school and in the swiftest possible time to avoid any further difficulties for existing high school students.

Fully supporting the project. As part of project approval there must be a requirement for safe pedestrian and active transport crossing of kings highway by way of permanent ( not time of day. As high school student particularly will have flexible access and egress requirements) zebra crossing. This would also support the primary school. It is unthinkable that two schools cannot be safely accessed.
