Norwest Private Hospital Expansion

Norwest Private Hospital is an important facility for the Hills Area but particularly Norwest Business Park and Bella Vista residential areas. Its expansion is timely in view of the North West Rail Line to Bella Vista and beyond under construction that will generate more business and residential density in the areas relatively close to the hospital. The expanded hospital will also be a fillip for the Circa Business Zone which has lagged the rest of Norwest Business park and is still under-utilised as commercial space. I believe that Circa should be developed as a medical and health services area that could encompass a retirement village on some of the unsold commercial land, given access to good transport and medical services nearby.

My only reservations with the proposal are that the height of the building envelope should not impede the sight lines from the heritage site of Bella Vista Farm Park and that the provision for additional parking seems inadequate given that street parking around Circa is rapidly filling up as travellers park through the day to catch the bus to locations outside the area.
