The noise pollution from the BESS will disrupt daily lives, making it difficult to sleep, work, and enjoy anything in town in homes. This constant noise will lead to increased stress and health issues over time. The mental stress will be for every if this BESS is build 10km to Parks that is to close.

I am concerned about the safety and security of the town. The BESS site could become a target for vandalism or even terrorism, putting our residents at risk and potentially causing significant damage. As a nurse, Who protects vulnerable member of the community. they will all be put at rick. The elder resident in the nursing homes and retirement villages will be most at rick.

The visual impact of the transmission lines and the BESS will detract from the natural beauty of our area, which is a key attraction for tourists. This could have a negative impact on our local economy, which partly relies on tourism. Parks is renowned for the telescope and the massive tourism it holds for the area. This must be consider as a detrimental effect.

I am deeply worried about the impact of the BESS and its transmission lines on the critically endangered Regent Honeyeater (Anthochaera phrygia). These birds are already facing severe threats, and further habitat disruption could push them closer to extinction. The vegetation communities are more commonly known collectively as Box Gum Woodlands, and the patches of them left within the Parkes Shire are very important for the health of our community, ecosystems and farms.

The fire risks associated with the BESS are a significant concern. the batteries explode into fames 10 metres high with exploding flames in any direction. Communities are absolutely not equipped to handle such emergencies. A fire could easily spread, causing catastrophic damage to our homes and the surrounding environment.

My friends is a local farmer and an environmentalist and bird watcher. Through our discussions, I am worried about the impact on the critically endangered Small Purple-pea (Swainsona recta) and the endangered Superb Parrot (Polytelis swainsonii) that inhabit our area. The construction and operation of the BESS will threaten their already fragile habitats.

The installation of high voltage transmission lines to support the BESS will bring them dangerously close to homes. These lines pose health risks due to prolonged exposure to electromagnetic fields. Additionally, the visual impact of these transmission lines will mar the beautiful landscape.

My Community is deeply concerned about the noise pollution the BESS will generate. They are being proposed in a large amount of area. This constant noise will disrupt our peaceful rural life and affect mental health. Furthermore, the increased fire risk is alarming. communities lacks the resources to effectively combat large-scale fires, putting lives and properties at significant risk.

Incapable Ridgey Creek Battery Energy Storage System is an extremely destructive, disingenuous plan with a contaminating lifecycle that is not one bit clean, green or sustainable.
Being weather dependent is useless, only ensuring it will never provide reliable, cheap power on demand.
Australians need far superior 24/7 Australian power with a minimal environmental footprint.
