General Mills are a food manufacturing facility producing under the highest standards of GMP and hygiene. Any incident or practices at the newly built recycling facility during the construction phase or later while in operation that can lead to
• bad odor
• microbiological contamination
• uncontrolled or roadside debris
• wastewater treatment flooding
are key issues that can transfer to our manufacturing environment through transport, human traffic or air and will be of grave concern to our product quality and may result into line stoppages, product non availability and financial loss. If we are exposed to additional EPA inquiries as a consequence of an incident at 600 Woodstock avenue which is not announced to us and other neighbors and we are not aware of it, will have to investigate using external 3rd Party suppliers before submitting replies to inquiries. This cost us time and money which will be unplanned for General Mills.
What we require as Food Manufacturing Business from 600 Woodstock Avenue is:
• All such and possibly other potential challenges should be considered and mitigated during their design and construction phase &
• In case of a failure to the compliance of the above highlighted concerns or an incident happening, potentially leading to these concerns we should be immediately notified as a proactive measure as a matter of priority, of what happened, nature of risk, extent of failure, what are they doing to control and by when it will be resolved for giving us the opportunity to also put control / containment of the risk if possible or a stop of our facility depending on the risk we are exposed to while the 600 Woodstock Avenue business sorts out the issue.
