To the Department Assessment Officer
This submission is provided to notify the Department that North Sydney
Council intends to object to the proposed Concept redevelopment
Council has made internal referrals and is undertaking a more detailed
review however I advise Council will be unable to provide comment by
the close of business today. This is principally due awaiting review
of the proposal by Council's Traffic Engineers.
I am however able to advise that Council will likely be objecting to
the proposal principally on the basis of cumulative traffic impact of
the School in conjunction with the concurrent consideration of the
other nearby State Significant Development for Loretto School at 85
Carabella Street, Kirribilli (Redevelopment of Loreto School Concept
and Stage 1 SSD 7919)
It is anticipated we should be able to provide the general submission
response as requested by no later than close of business next
Wednesday 6 June 2018.
