I have written to the NSW Government before on the original proposal.
On this occasion, I advise that I have read, in detail, and support all four submissions made by my local community organisation: Saving Moore Park Inc, in their entirety.
In particular, I support fully Saving Moore Park Inc's views and recommendations regarding car and bicycle parking, and on the design relating to the currently proposed six-metre height of the steps leading up to the entry and exit points.
I commend and thank Mr Michael Waterhouse, the convenor of Saving Moore Park Inc, for his work and that of his colleagues. Mr Waterhouse and colleagues have performed an exceptional job in researching, analysing, questioning and developing Saving Moore Park Inc's submission.
I have lived in Poate Road, Centennial Park since 1995, apart from a three-year absence in the late 1990s when I lived elsewhere in Sydney.
I want to see Moore Park saved.
Given that the award-winning SFS built only in 1988 has been demolished, and given a new stadium is to rise in its place, the only way Moore Park can be saved from further degradation is to follow all the recommendations contained in the four submissions dated 17 July 2019 made by Saving Moore Park Inc.
Thank you.

Having the stadium on a level with Moore Park Road means the height and bulk is unnecessarily excessive. And having large numbers of people exiting onto a busy through road like Moore Park Road is not sensible.
The playing surface should be lowered so that it is at, or below, the level of Driver Avenue, with a large open plaza on that side of the stadium providing those arriving and departing with safe, ready access to the light rail and bus stops, and the walkway to the City.
That would take advantage of the natural slope of the land, with the playing surface at the Moore Park Road end significantly below road level, with a much reduced impact on the neighbouring terraces.
Ellis Park in Jo'burg illustrates what can be achieved by setting the playing surface below ground level. The bulk of that huge stadium is significantly reduced by the sunken playing surface.
The designers urgently need to revisit the concept in the direction I have suggested.

I recently contacted the Premier of NSW office regarding ADULT CHANGE FACILITIES for people with DISABILITIES and was advised to submit my concerns with you.
I have viewed the plans for the new stadium which looks fantastic but should be bigger to cater for 80,000 people.
I have looked at the toilets and can see "red squiggles around the cubicle".The cubicles I viewed were P13, P14, G04, C24 and M21 on the stadium drawings. I am seeking confirmation that this is a "ceiling track hoist" that will allow people in wheelchairs to be hoisted to use the toilet with an ADULT CHANGE BENCH for carers to change their incontinence pads. I did not see a change bench in the cubicles. I would appreciate a magnified drawing of these facilities to offer some input if required. My only concern is that this facility will cater for EVERYONE including people with severe disabilities.
Below is a copy of the letter to the Premier:

Dear Premier of NSW (Gladys),
Firstly congratulations on winning the NSW state elections. You are doing a fantastic job and go about your business in a respectable and professional manner. We are supporters of you and your government.
Recently we were advised that Sydney will be getting a new stadium which will be a huge asset to our state and we fully support the proposal.
We are the parents and carers of our disabled adult xxxx whose name is xxxx. xxxx is xxx. xxxx is a very social xxx and enjoys many activities and is supported through the NDIS. xxxx is severely disabled which has a huge impact on where xxx is able to go and often depends on what facilities are available to change xxx in.....if any at all. In this day and age it is unacceptable that xxx would need to changed on the floor of a disabled toilet. Often if there are not 2 support staff to do this xxxx needs to remain in xxx soiled nappy till xxx gets home. This is very degrading and can lead to other health issues sitting in a soiled nappy for 8 to 10 hours.
We are writing to you to plead that the new stadium have these Adult Change facilities to ensure severely disabled people are able to experience this new stadium like everyone else. I have cut and paste a quote from the internet on The indignity of what we and xxx experience everyday where there are no fac
