The submission is in objection to the proposal on the basis of its incompatibility in an area that is considered by or should be considered by Planning for NSW as an urban growth area. The submission suggests a range of potential impacts on the householder, local government and the State government. It highlights the potential for the project to inhibit future growth of public transport infrastructure in an area of growing population, an area that is expected to have approximately an additional 40,000 new dwellings approaching the year 2031 as projected by the 2006 Central Coast Regional Strategy.
