I Gemma Portelli as a resident of the Blacktown area and a high school student at Montgrove College prepatory school in Orchid Hills, Penrith demand that this incinerator is not built! It will affect the health of myself, my family, relatives and friends and especially my cousins and friends with asthma and my grandfather, uncle and mother who have cancer and many others who suffer these illnesses and more in the areas the incinerator will affect. If the incinerator is built I will lose all respect for the council and think of them as nothing more than selfish people who couldn't care less for the PEOPLE!

This waste facility is being built too close to residential areas. I have real fears that the smell and reduction in air quality will negatively affect the nearby suburbs of which mine is one.

Absolutely disgusted that this facility isn't being built in a more remote location. All the assurances in the world could not convince me this is a good idea. The people of this area are being sold down the river, again.

This is unacceptable and very unsafe for people nearby and far away. There are 3 large schools within 1.8km of the incinerator and houses within 800m. People with asthma will be very badly affected by all the smoke. It will also release bad pollution which will affect the wonderful landscapes here. Besides hasn't any of these people being hearing about global warming. This is adding to this increasingly environmental hazard. They are producing a large variety of bad pollutants, such as toxic metals, dioxins and acid gases, which will badly affect us as they would be in the air we breathe. Dioxin is a highly toxic compound which may cause cancer and neurological damage, and disrupt reproductive systems, thyroid systems, respiratory systems, plus much, much more. When this is built, I think the area around it will become a lot more desolate because people are leaving due to this incinerator.

Please DO NOT build an incenerator near my home and school, this is very dangerous because the fumes are toxic and can cause really harmful effects to the body like lung cancer and asthma.
I would then be forced to move out of my home and school which i do not intend to do and will be a great bother to me and other citizens i assure you. Build it somewhere else miles away from residential areas.

I object to the location of this proposal.

I am deeply opposed to the Energy Waste Facility at Eastern Creek.

I work in Werrington. It is only through concerned friends that I have even found out about this proposal. The fact that absolutely no community consultation has occurred with businesses, schools, residents etc. when health concerns such as toxic metals like arsenic, mercury and cadmium and others including known carcinogens being emitted into the air, is beyond reproach.

Ian Malouf who has had multiple infringements with the EPA already, is, I feel, underhandedly putting profit before people. This facility will be the largest of its kind in the world and will be incredibly loud and operate 24/7.

I'm sure Mr Malouf doesn't work or live within 30 kms of the proposed site.

This is most concerning and can NOT occur.

I am a year 9 student that attends the school Montgrove College in Orchard Hills and I am concerned about the future incinerator. This provides many problems for the people around the area of the future incinerator! This means that the many students that attend our school will struggle with many health problems from all the pollution. My friend has to move from her house because it is 2km away from the incinerator! It also is a lack of community consultation. By making this act you are putting many peoples health at risk. Why would you build it in the middle of a useful area? Please move the incinerator somewhere else away from people or don't build it all!

There are alternatives like promoting recycling, and using environmentally friendly products. Also think about the future generations, we are trying to get rid of some pollution in the Earth's atmosphere to stop of global warming, this incinerator will also affect the environment's plants and animals.

The pollutants is dangerous to the oxygen we breathe in.

Please consider my points really hard and rethink everything over!
