Gardens of Stone Pagoda Walk Section One
Lithgow
Gardens of Stone State Conservation Area Pagoda Walk, Section One, is a 12 km walking track with a camping area near Lithgow, NSW. The project will offer an iconic walking experience through clifftop views, rainforest gullies, and stone pagoda formations. Works will mostly follow an existing unauthorised motorcycle track with some realignment to protect threatened species, ecological communities, and Aboriginal cultural heritage. The proposal includes two helicopter landing pads and a total disturbance footprint of about 3.49 ha. Vegetation cleared during construction will be allowed to regenerate naturally, and materials from site works will be reused where possible.
