Proposed shared elevated walkway and bridge over Pattimore Lagoon Entrance Waterway - Lake Conjola

The activity would involve the following works :
• The construction of approximately 129 metres of 2.5 metre wide concrete SUP at ground level (the path widens at Milham Street to 3.2 metres to provide for accessible kerb ramps).
• The construction of 10 metres of 2.5 metre wide raised walkway supported on screw piles.
• The installation of a 2.5 metre wide, 10 metre long single span truss SUP bridge with mini-mesh (or similar) supported by concrete abutments.
• Installation of signage, bollards and line-marking in accordance with relevant Austroads standards.
• Kerb and guttering along Lake Conjola Entrance Road
• Removal of approximately 25 Swamp Oaks Casuarina glauca and other native and non-native vegetation within area of about 370m2.
• Removal of existing foot-bridge.
Works would also involve the implementation of prescribed safeguards and mitigation measures.
