The proposed development relates to the construction of a new ambulance station at the Glen Innes District Hospital to improve the delivery of emergency services within the region.
The new single storey ambulance station will include:
• Operations rooms including amenities, administration and office space, outdoor areas, lockers, common room, medical store and a gymnasium.
• Plant room providing six (6) ambulance parking bays, wash bay, oil separation, delivery area and waste storage area.
• External hardstand areas including walkways, six (6) light vehicle parking bays, one (1) relief parking space, one (1) PWD parking space, one (1) DOM covered parking bay, one (1) service bay.
• Access via Taylor Street and West Avenue.
The Activity involves tree removal and excavation works, and landscaping at the completion of construction works
