Extension of existing gravel pit

Proposal to increase the amount of material currently extracted from approximately 30,000 cubic metres to a maximum of 75,000 cubic metres per annum over the next 4 years (2015-2018). After the initial 4 year period it is envisaged that the quarry will continue to operate at a reduced extraction rate (approximately 20,000 cubic metres) for a total period of 20 years (2035). Extraction of the material will occur over three stages with site rehabilitation to occur at the conclusion of each stage.
