Amend Canterbury LEP to include provisions relating to boarding houses in R2 and R3 zones (WITHDRAWN)

The planning proposal aims to amend the Canterbury Local Environmental Plan (CLEP) by:  Introducing a local provision in the LEP for boarding houses that would significantly limit the areas in which boarding houses can obtain consent in the R2 Low Density Residential zone; and Limit the capacity of a boarding house development to twelve lodgers in R2 Low Density Residential zone and R3 Medium Density Residential zone. On 11 July 2014 Council wrote to the Department to advise that Council had resolved on 12 June 2014 not be pursued this planning proposal in its current form.
