This proposal rezones land at the corner of Princes Highway and Short Street Corrimal to facilitate medium density residential development. The proposal will:- rezone the site from a mix of SP2 Infrastructure (majority of site) and R2 Low Density Residential to R3 Medium Density Residential;- increase maximum building heights on the site from 9m to 29m;- set a maximum floor space ratio of 1.5:1 for the site; and- permit food and drink premises, car parks, and flood mitigation works on the site, as these uses are not permitted in the R3 Medium Density zone.
