Planning proposals

To rezone site bounded by Forest Road, Durham Street and Roberts Lane, Hurstville and amend building height and floor space ratio controls for the site.

Georges River

The planning proposal is seeking to:- rezone the site bounded by Forest Road, Durham Street and Roberts Lane, Hurstville (Site A and Site B) from part IN2 Light Industrial and part R2 Low Density Residential to B4 Mixed Use;- increase the floor space ratio (FSR) control from 0.6:1 and 1:1 to 3.5:1 for Site A and to 1.5:1 for Site B;- increase the building height control from 9m and 10m to 60m for Site A and 25m for Site B;- encourage the provision of 'hotel and motel accommodation' through an inclusion of a bonus FSR for Site A; and- require a minimum non-residential land use FSR of 0.5:1 for both Site A and Site B.
