Tallowood Ridge, Mullumbimby - proposed relocation of residential subdivision

The Council provides that the proposal seeks to relocate an area of residential zoning currently approved for residential development to a more suitable, alternative location within the site to provide statutory planning protection, care and management of the part of the land known to provide habitat for a number of animal species. The Council advises that the new residential area would be flatter and more economically viable for development than the steeper slopes currently approved for development.The land is proposed to be rezoned from 1A Rural General to predominantly R2 Low density residential.
