The objective of the planning proposal is to amend the Hornsby Local Environmental Plan to give effect to the short term recommendations of the Hornsby Rural Lands Study that seek to improve the viability of rural lands, support existing commercial agriculture, avoid land use conflict and protect landscape and biodiversity values of the rural area.
