Amendment of Burwood LEP 2012 controls relating to serviced apartments and amendments to rectify LEP anomalies.

The planning proposal seeks to amend the Burwood Local Environmental Plan 2012 (BLEP) as follows:Item 1: Amend the objectives of clause 4.4A(1) 'Exceptions to floor space ratio' of the BLEP and the provision of an additional clause after 4.4A(3) to limit the floor space available for serviced apartments in specific locations where the current maximum residential FSR control applies.Item 2: Amend the BLEP Land Reservation Acquisition Map in order to identify a number of properties on Georges River Road which are affected by future State Government road widening, and which are currently not identified on the Map.Item 3: The adjustment of mapping boundaries to reflect the recent land swap between Council and Burwood Girls High School/Department of Education and Communities (DEC). Zoning, FSR, Maximum Building Height and Lot Size maps are to be adjusted accordingly.Item 4: Amendment of the BLEP Land Use Table to allow Residential flat buildings as permissible with consent in the B2 Local Centre Zone.
