Amendment to North Sydney LEP 2001 to limit the application of SEPP 1 on building heights in certain land within St Leonards and Crows Nest.

This planning proposal seeks to limit the approval of development proposals that would exceed the current height controls under the North Sydney LEP 2001 within certain commercial, mixed use and residential land in St Leonards and Crows Nest. North Sydney Council is currently undertaking a strategic review of the development controls and public domain requirements of this area. The purpose of the planning proposal is to maintain the current height controls whilst Council undertakes the review and subsequent work to amend the North Sydney LEP 2001.
