Ballina Local Environmental Plan 2012 (Amendment No 9) - Cumbalum Precinct A - Conversion to new Part 3

THIS PLANNING PROPOSAL PROVIDES FOR THE CONVERSION OF BALLINA LEP (AMENDMENT NO. 105- PRECINCT A) TO THE CURRENT PART 3 OF THE EP&A ACTCumbalum Precinct A is located approximately 7 kilometres to the north-west of Ballina and is currently zoned 1(d) Rural (Urban Investigation). The proposal will allow for the development of residential land, environmental protection and rural zonings where appropriate. The subject land has an area of 360ha that may provide for an estimated 1000 dwellings.Council has requested that Precinct A and Precinct B be treated separately to provide clarity and flexibility in the consideration of each matter.
