The proposal seeks to amend the Byron Local Environmental Plan (LEP) 2014 to:1. Permit 'detached dual occupancies' with consent in the RU1 Primary Production and RU2 Rural Landscape zones; 2. Permit 'secondary dwellings' with consent in the RU1 Primary Production and RU2 Rural Landscape zones;3. Establish a 4000m2 minimum lot size for detached dual occupancies in the RU1 and RU2 zones; and4. Provide heads of consideration for consent when assessing applications.
