Lockhart LEP 2012 ( Amendment No. 1) - Various Rezoning, Minimum Lot Size and Land Use Table Amendments

To amend the Lockhart LEP 2012 to implement the outcomes from Council's 'Lockhart Rural Lands Study' and 'Rural Settlement & Industrial Land Rezoning Study' which were finalised in 2013. The proposal seeks to;- Amend the lot size across all RU1 Primary Production zoned land from 650ha to 250ha; - Rezone a number of areas in close proximity to the towns of Lockhart and The Rock from RU1 Primary Production to R5 Large Lot Residential and amend the Lot Size Map and lot size provisions; and- Rezone a total of 3 areas from RU1 Primary Production to IN1 General Industrial (58ha) in close proximity to the towns of Lockhart and The Rock. The IN1 Zone is being introduced as a new zone into the LEP.
