Merriwa Local Environmental Plan 1992 (Amendment No 1)
Upper Hunter
To update the Merriwa LEP 1992 to require development consent for dwellings in the 2(v) Village zone.The EPA Act was amended in 1998 to requiring dwelling houses to obtain development consent. The Merriwa Local Environmental Plan 1992 does not require consent for dwelling houses in the 2(v) Village zone. This planning proposal will remove this anomaly.
