Newcastle LEP 2003 and City Centre LEP 2008 Spot Rezonings and Miscellaneous Amendments

The Planning Proposal consists of 5 parts:-1. Insert enabling clause by amending Schedule 8 Development for certain additional purposes of the Newcastle LEP 2003, to permit "camping ground or caravan park" at Lot 2 DP 1129904, known as 35 Eastern Avenue, Tarro.2. Rezone land from 2(b) Urban Core zone to 3(a) Local Centre at 531-537 Glebe Road, Adamstown to facilitate the redevelopment of the existing service station and development of a convenience store. 3. Amend Newcastle LEP 2003 to:(a) permit certain types of subdivision as complying development in Zones 1(a), 6(a), 7(a) and 7(c); (b) update the heritage descriptions in Sch 6;(c) correct a number zoning anomalies. 4. Amend the heritage schedule of the Newcastle City Centre LEP 2008 to insert additional heritage items previously exhibited and delete listed heritage items which are outside the CC LEP 08 boundaries.5. Amend the heritage schedule of the Newcastle LEP 2003 and City Centre LEP 2008 to revise the heritage status of items currently listed as having state heritage significance that are not on the State Heritage Register to local significance.
