Penrith LEP 2010 (Amendment No.19) - Reclassification and rezoning of 7 (seven) sites in Erskine Park and St Clair (21 dwellings)

The planning proposal seeks to reclassify 7 (seven) sites owned by Penrith Council in Erskine Park and St Clair from 'Community' to 'Operational' land. In addition, the planning proposal seeks to rezone the sites from RE1 Public Recreation to R2 Low Density Residential. The reclassification and subsequent rezoning will allow Council to sell all or part of a number of reserves that are no longer considered viable. The proceeds from the sale of this land will assist in improving other existing open space within Erskine Park and in providing additional recreational infrastructure, such as pedestrian and cycle paths.
