Planning Proposal to amend Clarence Valley LEP 2011 to rezone land at the decommissioned Townsend Sewerage Treatment Plant from SP2 Infrastructure to RU2 Rural Landscape, reclassify the land to Operational and apply a Minimum Lot Size standard - Amendment No 35

The proposal seeks to amend the Clarence Valley Local Environmental Plan (LEP) 2011 by rezoning the now decommissioned Townsend Sewerage Treatment Plant from SP2 Infrastructure to RU2 Rural Landscape and apply a 40ha minimum lot size. The proposal seeks to reclassify the subject lands from 'Community' to 'Operational' pursuant to section 27 of the Local Government Act 1993. The proposed will amend Clarence Valley LEP 2011 Schedule 4 Classification and reclassification of Public Land. No interests are changed as part of this proposal.
