Planning proposal to amend land zoning, increase building height and floor space ratio controls and introduce new local provisions for the Kensington and Kingsford Town Centres under Randwick LEP 2012 (Final planning proposal: 1,324 dwellings and 960 jobs)
Randwick
The planning proposal will amend built form controls, including maximum building height and floor space ratio, and introduce new local provisions applying to land zoned B2 Local Centre within the Kensington and Kingsford Town Centres, under the Randwick Local Environmental Plan (LEP) 2012.
The proposal will include additional sites (currently zoned residential) to be rezoned to B2 Local Centre which form a minor boundary extension to the town centres.
The Gateway has been altered following a Gateway Review by the Independent Planning Commission.
Council submitted the planning proposal to the Department for finalisation following its exhibition in late 2019.
