Rezoning of Worrigee Urban Release Area (AMENDMENT 12)

The planning proposal seeks to rezone two parcels of land totalling 65.36ha within the Worrigee Urban Release Area to provide for large lot residential development.It is proposed to rezone the land from R1 General Residential and RE2 Private Recreation to R5 Large Lot Residential (with a minimium lot size of 2,500m2) under the Shoalhaven LEP 2014. The proposal will result in approximately 100 lots.It is also proposed to correct a minor zoning error in the north eastern corner of Lot 586 where 0.25ha of land is zoned RU2 Rural Landscape and has been previously overlooked for a Large Lot Residential zoning.The proposal seeks to remove the land from the Urban Release Area map in the Shoalhaven LEP 2014.
