Bumborah Point - Expansion of the Eastern Suburbs Memorial Park

The planning proposal seeks to amend Randwick Local Environmental Plan 2012 to include “cemetery” as an additional permitted use for land, known as Bumborah Point, Port Botany.
The planning proposal intends to facilitate expansion of the Eastern Suburbs Memorial Park to create approximately 3,000 new burial plots plus space for ash internments, improve the usability of the site for passive recreation and enhance access to Yarra Bay Beach.
