Planning Proposal - Local Character Areas (Type 3 LCA - To be maintained)

The planning proposal seeks to introduce a clause and map overlays into the LEP that will require development to be consistent with desired future character statements in stand-alone Local Character Statements. The intent is to offset the impacts of significant uplift that is in progress across the LGA by ensuring future development in eleven discrete areas of the LGA is consistent with the desired future character statement.
