Amend Queanbeyan LEP 2012 - Rezone 3R Kavanagh Street Jerrabomberra E4 Zone

The applicant, Knight Frank Town Planning acting on behalf of North Terrace Developments Pty Ltd, is seeking to amend Queanbeyan LEP 2012 to;1. rezone part of 3R Kavannagh Street Jerrabomberra (2.9 ha) from E2 Environmental Conservation Zone to E4 Environmental Living Zone, and2. Amend Schedule 1 to; - introduce provisions that permit subdivision of land to be zoned E4 Environmental Living Zone under 'Community Land Development Act 1989' to create lots with an average size of 1,000 m2 and a minimum size of 600 m2 to accommodate 'single dwellings and multi-dwelling housing'. - the balance of the site zoned E2 Environmental Conservation Zone (9.6 ha) to be 'common land' (association property under the Community Land Development Act 1989).3. Include provisions to ensure environmentally acceptable outcomes as a result of any subdivision of the site under the Community Land Development Act 1989.4. if required amend the Height of Buildings Map to apply a maximum building height of 8.5 metres on land proposed to be zoned E4 Environmental Living Zone, consistent with adjoining urban land.
