Broader Western Sydney Employment Area draft Structure Plan

With the announcement of the Western Sydney Airport, the Broader Western Sydney Employment Area now forms part of the Western Sydney Priority Growth Area. A Land Use and Infrastructure Strategy is now being prepared for the area and will be publicly exhibited. For further information please view the project web page. The NSW Government prepared a draft Structure Plan for the Broader Western Sydney Employment Area (WSEA). The Broader WSEA is a significant part of western Sydney with the potential to shape Sydney’s future, boost the economy and provide jobs closer to home. The Broader WSEA will expand the already successful Western Sydney Employment Area at the intersection of the M7 and M4 Motorways near Eastern Creek. The Broader WSEA will be the single largest new employment space of its kind in the Sydney Metropolitan Area. The draft Structure Plan will guide the growth of the Broader WSEA by providing a framework for land use, transport and infrastructure planning at a strategic level.
