Proposed amendment to the Western Sydney Employment Area

The NSW Government has finalised an amendment to the Western Sydney Employment Area 2009 State Environmental Planning Policy. This amendment will allow the construction of a 4.7km gas pipeline between the Transpacific Industries (TPI) landfill site at Erskine Park and the Austral Bricks plant at Horsley Park. The pipeline will allow gas to be transferred from the landfill to help power the brick plant.
