In June-July 2018, the Department exhibited an Explanation of Intended Effect (EIE) which proposed to amend the Sydney Regional Environmental Plan No 33 – Cooks Cove (Cooks Cove SREP).
The EIE proposed to amend the Cooks Cove SREP to permit ‘recreation facilities’ with consent, within part of the southern portion of the precinct currently zoned Special Uses.
