Factors affecting window/door performance
Various characteristics of the room where window or door is located, such as floor type, function of the space and floor covering, are considered in calculating the heating and cooling loads.
For each window, select the relevant function carried out within that space.
Bedroom: If a window is in a sleeping area or any adjacent space that can only be accessed from a bedroom.
Utility: If a window is in a utility space (e.g. laundry, bathroom or WC).
Other: Any other type of space that is not bedroom (or accessed from a bedroom) or utility such as, living spaces, hallway, study, dinning room, kitchen etc.
