I want Broomfield street (between Bridge street and Sussex street) to become a one way street (vehicle can only travel south bound).
Maintain 30 degrees angle parkings along Broomfield street west side (between Bridge street and Sussex street).
Maintain 0 degrees angle parkings along Broomfield street east side (between Bridge street and Sussex street).
Number of parking spaces with 0 degrees angle parking along Broomfield street west side (between Bridge street and Sussex street) is less than number of parking spaces with 30 degrees angle parking along Broomfield street west side (between Bridge street and Sussex street).
Parking capacity in Cabramatta is close to full.

Our grounds will be directly and detrimentally effected by all 7 stages of the ARTC project affecting our competitions and the ability to host tournaments and gala days, which will all have a financial impact on our association over the course of the development. This financial impact will impede the associations ability to provide ongoing maintenance and development of our facilities.
2 Summary of Submission
This proposal is requesting the consideration of the following to assist our association to continue to grow and improve during the development period.
1. Improvement to the access road that runs along the length of the train tracks.
2. Request for the installation of lights to enable us to play night games to make up for the loss of 3 diamonds during this period.
3. Access to the double gates at the end of Sappho Road, or the installation of additional gates to allow for the continued maintenance of the grounds by Liverpool Council and our vendor deliveries.
4. Additional Trees along the Train line to provide shade for our members.
5. Reinstatement and reconfiguration of the diamonds once project has been completed and the introduction of an Indoor training facility to compensate for the loss of one diamond on a permanent basis.

It is acknowledged in the EIS that there are likely parking impacts as a result of the proposal, particularly on the eastern side of the train line, Cabramatta.
In addition to seeking temporary and permanent parking arrangements, the proposal could also consider the provision of additional bicycle racks along the eastern side of Cabramatta train station.
Bicycle racks at Cabramatta station are already full, which are resulting in people are locking their bikes onto public fencing.
In this regard, the provision of at least 100 bicycle racks to commensurate some of the parking losses from the proposal would be beneficial.
I want to emphasis this should 'commensurate' the loss of permanent parking. For example, a net loss of one car parking space should be at the very least equal to 10 bicycle parking spaces.
NIGHT WORKS
I strongly object to night-time works.
With the combination of existing night-time noises from vehicles, aeroplanes, helicopters (Cabramatta is under a flight path for Bankstown Airport) and trains (including freight), we do not want any more noises at night.
The proposed night works will further impact our (including children) sleep and wellbeing.
I suggest 8:30 pm should be the limit for night works.
Furthermore, some people leave their bedroom windows open at night, particularly in the warmer months. In these instances, noises from night works would be unacceptable and should also be considered and addressed.

Thank you for hosting the recent community information session on the 18 September 2019.
I am not opposing to the project as I understand the need for the passing loop. However, as a resident located close to the proposed construction plans, I have a number of concerns.
Point 1: Road reserve
According to the summary EIS page 4, the diagram illustrate the nature strip will decrease. Can I ask how much of Broomfield Street nature strip will be decreased?
Not oppose to this, as it makes sense to realign the street.
This leads to my next question, there are powerlines erected on the nature strips. Will the powerlines be converted to underground? If not, would it be something you could add to the scope of the project please.
Can I also request confirmation that Broomfield Street current alignment will maintain the same? i.e bike/walk track, public parking, two way traffic lane, public parking?
Point 2: Signal locations
The ATRC staff mentioned while the fright trains passes on another, there is no need for either trains to stop completely. However, in a case if this is required, can you please indicate where the signal location will be erected? I could be wrong, however my understanding, trains that have stop, their engines would still be running. Causing unwelcome noise to the locale residents.
Point 3: Lost of parking spaces and temporary car spaces
Eleven car spaces will be lost due to the construction. According to ARTC staff and the EIS, the "network would be able to absorb" the additional eleven car spaces and are in negotiation with the councils. This is great for short term. However, long term and especially to future proof the growing population, it will be ideal for another solution and not a band-aid solution.
Point 4: Landscape and visual
On page 11 of the summary EIS, provides an artistic image of the vertical landscape which looks like it runs the whole course of the wall.
> Will the vertical landscape span the whole distance of the concrete wall? Or only the entire length of the passing loop?
> Who will maintain the vertical garden once the project is completed?
> Will the cost of maintaining the vertical garden be costed towards the residents?
> Is the vertical garden required? The current concrete wall seems to be fine to the residents.
Other thoughts:
Would it be possible to move the passing loop up further towards the Cabravale Leisure Centre? Only based on observation, the road up that end of Broomfield Street seem to be wider.
Thank you for reviewing my submission. Please do not hesitate to contact me for any further information.
Kind Regards
Cabramatta resident
