Firstly I would like to say that the information stated on this
modification is extremely vague. It's also extremely annoying that
this developer obtains an approval and then requests a modification,
increasing the impact that that this inappropriate operation will have
on the local residents.
(1) Signage above three metres should also have a height restriction.
IE they might place the lighting to six or eight metres high impacting
on the nearby residential suburbs.
(2) The road upgrade is the most vague of all mod descriptions. The
developer should be honest enough to actually state that their
intention is to close the current Moorebank Ave and divert it around
the eastern side of their site, again increasing the noise impact on
the suburbs that are as close as four hundred metres to the east of
their site. I might add there has been little advice to local
residents of the intent to divert Moorebank Ave along the back fences
of the local suburbs. It may alright for the developer to divert the
road, but no consideration has been given to the residents. In fact,
resident consideration has been no existent from day one of this
development. The fact is that the people living in the suburb of
Wattle Grove live a close as four metres from this site and are
continually assured that the noise levels will not impact on them,
which is absolute BS. It's a known fact that people living within a
radius of three kilometres of the Port Botany freight terminal are
suffering sleep disturbance, yet we are expected to accept this
nightmare next door won't.
The Government and its departments represent the people not just big
business and as such it's high time that they start to protect our
health.
(3) Any modification to the current approval covering the Hibbertia
Puberula should not be allowed.
In closing I would like to advise that I have opposed this development
since day simply based on my employment history. I was employed in the
transport industry for 48 years, with many years spent in in this type
of operation. As such, I have a very high level of the negative aspect
of this area of the industry.

Yours Sincerely,

Allan Corben

We object to any further changes that will add to noise and light
pollution with this project. It should never have been approved. There
so many Koalas already killed due to the clearing of the native fauna.
Koalas have been seeking refuge in local backyards. Take your trucks
elsewhere and your development that will destroy our beautiful
neighborhood. We live in the centre of Wattle Grove and our backyard
is disgusting from all the dust. Go away!

I have been totally opposed to the Developement for nearly 11 years and
still believe that it will be impossible to get their vehicles on our
roads as I have witnessed traffic gridlock for most ofthe day and my
employment with the sydney authority and Port Botany authority before
proved you cannot have these type of developements in such limited
hours. Our experts have estimated that the developement will contribute
a extra 20000 extra vehicles daily which will be impossible and the
gridlock is worsening all the time. There is much better otions
available like Eastern Creek Newcaslte which will make Moorebank
redundant. With the south west of sydney incrasing its population at a
alarming rate with a further 300000 to 400 000 expected in the future
it will add enormous prssure on the area

I object wholeheartedly with this project. Our roads can not handle the
amount of trucks that a project of this nature will bring. Liverpool
area is one of the worse if not the worse area in Sydney for
pollution. This coupled with other projects around the vicinity will
reduce the quality of living for everybody living in the area. Many
more people will become sick and die , that is likely. But nobody
really seems to care as long as they make a buck. Wrong place!
