The quarry’s destructive expansion and associated Public Health & Safety Risks from contamination, transportation fumes and excessive emissions will further contribute to pollution of Dubbo/Australia - against the greater good - undermining the very purpose of what’s supposed to be a clean, sustainable, low emission ‘renewable’ future.
What a deceptive Swindle!

Native plant species, including the Grey Box and White Box woodlands, are at risk. These ecological communities are already classified as endangered, and further quarrying could lead to their irreversible loss.

It is convenient that the owners of the quarry, MAAS Group, have significant financial interest in the equally destructive renewable energy transmission project, don't you think?? Snouts in the trough and too many fingers in the pies comes to mind.

an extra 20 years of digging holes for dirt and rocks will not be good for the Dubbo environment, nor "green".

The proposed 20-year extension of the South Keswick Quarry will exacerbate environmental degradation in the Dubbo region. Continuous extraction disrupts ecosystems, leading to soil erosion and loss of biodiversity.

I object to MAAS Group Exacerbating the Energy Crisis as it’s ruinous energy/unnecessary transmission related projects - that the quarry’s gravel feeds into - are predicated on unreliable and intermittent energy sources like ecocidal wind, solar and Battery Bombs that are worsening the national energy crisis instead of providing a true solution.

This project is environmentally destructive. Another 20 + years of heavy road traffic as a result of the heavy-vehicles would be damaging to local roads. The quarry is owned by MAAS Group, who have a large interest in the transmission project - this should be a conflict of interest with the financial double-dipping.

The quarry expansion is tied to the horrible "Renewable Energy" agenda that is failing to provide reliable, sustainable, secure and affordable energy to Australians, while bankrupting the country and using the quarry's products in projects that threaten public health and safety as well as detrimentally disrupting biodiversity and natural landscapes.

The constant noise from the quarry's operation—blasting, crushing, and the movement of large vehicles—will create unbearable noise pollution, disturbing local communities and wildlife alike.

Cumulative Industrialisation impacts in Dubbo Shire are repulsive & not in the best interests of the community or our life sustaining water resources.
The combination of the quarry, massive solar/wind factories, explosive BESS and transmission lines will turn the Central West into an industrial wasteland, severely damaging the region's rural character and quality of life for residents & all Australians who appreciate rural Australia.

Predatory Transmission works menaces MAAS are depleting the region's natural resources, and expanding its operations FOR NO PUBLIC BENEFIT - only to accelerate the exhaustion of materials that are not replenishable in our lifetimes - leaving the region poorer in terms of both resources and ecological balance - as their RenewaBULL related activities are all about the Transition to Extinction!

I object to the increased traffic hazard & ruination of public roads for this Fake Green Gravy Train linked, parasitic MAAS plan.
The transport of their quarry products through public roads will create a dangerous environment for local drivers, pedestrians, and cyclists, with a higher risk of accidents and fatalities due to the heavy industrial traffic.

Continuation of excavation of aggregate from South Keswick Quarry SSD-61394968 will have Continuation detrimental impact on the associated access roads due to convoys of very heavily loaded trucks? No different to the detrimental impact on the network of access roads surrounding the Rye Park Range during the construction of the Rye Park wind turbine development? This unnecessary destruction of public roads had a very significant impact on the travels of non involved residents? Approving a continuous and ongoing excavation process from this quarry therefore will be detrimental to local road infrastructure?

The extraction and processing of gravel poses significant risks of water contamination, which could poison local aquifers and affect not only the environment but also the health and safety of residents who rely on these water sources.
