I wish to object to the Wallarah 2 Coal Mine Proposal because I believe that the damage that can potentially result from this type of mining cannot be properly evaluated without human error and any mistakes made in the EIS will lead to devastating damage to this pristine region and will be both permanent and irreversible.
I have studied the EIS and in my opinion the objections raised by the Australian Coal Alliance are well researched and all of their points are valid. I believe I have been unable to successfully save the PDF document I therefore attach a link to their copy of their submission in case File attachment 1 fails to open successfully http://www.australiancoalalliance.com/Information/Model%20Sumbission.pdf
Although unsigned in the PDF format, I wish the contents to be included as part of my submission.
