There is no detailed plan for restoring habitats disrupted by the project. the surround land will be destroyed. the land will near be the same or ever returned top its orinagal state

Here are my Concerns:
- Fire and explosion risks plus re-ignition
- Pollution and contamination of surrounding land should a fire occur.
- Health risks due to toxic smoke should a fire occur.
- No benefit to the community. Economic or social. Benefits only big business.
- Environmental impact at the site, surrounding the site and in other countries that manufacture the equipment.
- BESS manufacture supports slave & child labour in developing nations.
- Visual impact to rural area. The introduction of large industrial scale BESS will change the character of the area.
- Carbon footprint- while BESS can help integrate renewable energy, its own production and operation contributes to carbon emissions.
- Lack of community consultation, the locals that I have spoken to had no idea this major project was being considered.

Filthy, Fire Hazardous BATTERY BOMBS are a toxic contamination disaster that will cause Groundwater Poisoning - with life threatening chemicals leaching into aquifers over time—irreversibly destroying water security.

The proposal lacks measures to ensure public safety during construction and operation. It has no social licence. The surround residence are worn out by the constant barrage of industry

There is no mention of independent safety audits to evaluate fire risk management strategies to stop contamination of adjoining farm land

The EIS does not assess the potential risks to nearby communities.

There are no detailed plans for managing potential chemical spills.

This dodgy, fake green rip-off is Intergenerational Theft!
This destructive projects locks in environmental debt and poisoned land for future Australians to inherit without consent or compensation.

The EIS does not specify how hazardous materials will be handled and disposed of.

TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN

I object to the above as renewable energy is hazardous and will contaminate regional environments and may catch fire and cause toxic smoke and asthma and asthma-like health hazards in that event.

It is a myth that “renewable” energy is better. It is NOT better or CHEAPER than coal-fired base-load power by any stretch. This is also a national security issue when our services and assets are owned offshore.

This is not in Australia’s best interests and anyone thinking or pushing that has a loyalty to somewhere other than Australia and should be held accountable.

What a Battery Blight Spark Renewables/TNB are planning - with monstrous industrial BESS BOMBS that destroy rural environments - pollute the land/water, kill biodiversity, deny us real reliable & affordable power & devalue neighbouring land.

Potential battery leaks pose a risk of soil contamination, affecting agricultural productivity.

Airborne Toxin Fallout in the event of Fire is a Public Health & Safety Nightmare - with airborne particles that contaminate crops, livestock, and water supplies—crippling agricultural productivity.

Threat to Endangered Species:
The development site is within the habitat of several endangered species, including the Swift Parrot and Eastern Bent-wing Bat.
Lack of Species Relocation Plans:
There are no clear plans for relocating endangered species if their habitats are affected.
