Post-Consent Certificate Service
To support the introduction of the Housing and Productivity Contribution fee brought into effect by the Environmental Planning and Assessment Amendment (Housing and Productivity Contribution) Bill 2023, changes have been made to functionality in the NSW Planning Portal.
The main features of this release are:
- If the application includes a staged development, the applicant can select the stage(s) to which the certificate applies. This information will be validated by the council or certifier at the determination stage.
- Additional validation checks to prevent duplicate payments of the Housing and Productivity Contribution fee.
BASIX Service
The main feature of this release is:
- The historical work tab has been enabled for NSW Planning Portal users with a building professional account type.
Major projects
To support the introduction of the State Environmental Planning Policy (Sustainable Buildings) 2022, changes have been made to functionality in the NSW Planning Portal.
The main features of this release are:
- State Significant Infrastructure pathway land use zone has been added to the confirmation screen.
- Document categories for Significant Infrastructure pathway modification has been updated.
- The Sustainable Buildings SEPP collateral in the resources tab has been updated.
- The system-generated Request SEARS form includes the net lettable area.
Application Programming Interface (API)
Enhancements have been made to the following existing APIs: Online Complying Development Certificate API, Online DA service API, Online Post-Consent Certificate service API and State DA service API.
